AboutDavid Carey was born in Winnipeg and now lives in Port Moody. He completed his Masters of Fine Arts (Photography), 1990, at Bard College, New York. He has participated in a number of one-person shows and many group shows.
Carey’s most recent work involves altering famous oil paintings with modern artifacts to create mash-ups that alter the meaning and intent of the original art work. His humorous images make use of 3D digital objects to create unusual, and hopefully humorous scenarios. |
