About

David Carey was born in Winnipeg and now lives in Port Moody. He completed his Masters of Fine Arts (Photography), 1990,  at Bard College, New York. He has participated in a number of one-person shows and many group shows.
Carey’s most recent work involves altering famous oil paintings with modern artifacts to create mash-ups that alter the meaning and intent of the original art work. His humorous images make use of 3D digital objects to create unusual, and hopefully humorous scenarios.
